Essco pioneered development of double doctor technology. North America’s first center press double doctor was designed and manufactured by Essco, and installed in 1987 in a southern USA mill. Coater Wash Roll Doctors
Essco’s AQUACLEAN™ doctor system is specifically designed for use on coater backup wash rolls.
Aquaclean doctors can improve runnability, reduce roll maintenance, and improve product quality.
Heavy-duty 316L stainless steel construction with blind-tapped holes and multiple full-length seals prevent cleaning pond leak-through.
The pneumatic seal tube allows your mill to adjust blade flexibility to changing grades by changing blade thickness or the addition of backing blades.
Type Aquaclean
A proprietary Essco design for water wash cleaning doctor on blade coater backup rolls. Fully sealed, special air load tube, with massive construction for long blade life and effective, leak-free cleaning.
Wet/Dry End Doctors
Essco can provide corrosion resistant wet end doctors made of solid stainless steel or stainless steel clad.
Wet End Doctors
Options include spray deflectors, save-all pans, cleaning and lubrication showers, as well as your choice of blade holder, loading, and oscillation.
Dry End Doctors
Essco offers a full line of dry end doctors constructed of painted mild steel for paper machine dryers, Calender stacks, and reel drums, as well as other industrial applications.
Optional features include stainless steel crumb pans, air showers for threading assistance, choice of blade holder, loading device, and oscillation.
